A Hunting We Will Go.....

The Hanberg's have carried out for years and years the family tradition of going up on the mountain to cut Christmas trees. We always take lots of treats and hot chocolate to add to the fun. In past years (this is only my third year of going) there has been snow so we can sled. This year there wasn't any snow, just a long dusty trail up the mountain. I'm surprised our trees weren't flocked with dust by the time we got them home. This was Harley's first year of going and she loved it!!! We had a big fire which kept her amused. The rest of the time she begged for someone to take her for rides on the 4-wheeler. This is such a fun family tradition that we feel blessed to be a part of!

Grandpa Wayne has learned how to win Harley over!!!

Going to get Grandma's big tree.

My very own "Paul Bunyon"!

SANTA.....Not Such A Hit!!

Stacey had to sit on Santa's lap with Harley because, as you can see, she wasn't liking it!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very fun and eventful Thanksgiving this year! The day before, we went out to Salt Lake to pick up Jacob at the airport who was coming home from South Africa. His plane didn't come in until 10:10 that night. Jacob was our main priority and reason for going out to the city, but Wayne just happened to come across Jazz tickets at work and we couldn't let them go to waste. So, we took a little detour to the Energy Solutions arena before heading to the airport. We had awesome seats at the game! It was so much fun. We picked Jacob up at the airport at 10:12 p.m. (we barely made it) and spent the night in a motel. Thanksgiving day we spent at Grandma and Grandpa Hanberg's house. We had a very nice dinner and enjoyed having Jacob home with us!

Good conversation and good food--- you can't beat that!

Our Baby Turned "1"!

Don't ask me where the year has gone, but yes, our baby has turned one. We had a little party for her birthday which was a lot of fun. She was sick that day and wasn't feeling up to much, so I ended up opening most of her gifts while she sat on my lap and sucked her thumb. She is such a sweet little girl and has brought endless amounts of joy into our lives in the past year. We love you Harley Bug. Happy Birthday!

Harley had her very own lady bug cake and, as you can see, she thought it was delicious!!!

Grandma Jan gave her a princess scooter and she loves it!
